Shared apartment
A shared apartment is a good choice for single students. Such apartments are usually shared by 2-4 students. Each tenant has his/her own room, which can be locked, and the kitchen and the bathroom are shared by the tenants. Some of these apartments may also have a shared living room. Almost all organisations have a limited number of shared apartments with basic furniture: a bed and a desk in the tenants´ rooms, and a furnished kitchen.
Studio
Another popular type of apartment for single students is a studio. They are more expensive and not necessarily easy to obtain. The number of such apartments is rather limited, which means that you may have to queue for one.
Group apartment
If you want to live together with your friends, you can rent an entire apartment together. In addition to individual bedrooms and the kitchen, some apartments have a shared living room.
Family apartment
Family apartments usually have 2-3 rooms and a kitchen or a kitchenette. These apartments are meant for couples and families with children. Family apartments are usually located near services appreciated by families with children, such as playgrounds and kindergartens. Example...

saunas, laundry rooms with washing machines and tumble dryers, club rooms, playgrounds, etc. In most student apartments there is a fixed Internet connection.
