The student housing communities, of which the majority was established in the end of the 1960s or the beginning of the 1970s, are either foundations established by student associations or limited companies founded by municipalities with municipally owned share majorities. Usually the students’ unions, the tenants and municipal representatives participate in the administration of the communities.
